I love this version too. It cracks me up, because if you look closely, you’ll see that Jeremy is actually playing...a book. Ha!

It was a lazy Sunday morning. I was laying (or is it lying) on the couch checking Facebook while my kids watched their pre-church cartoons when SUDDENLY I read something that thrilled me to the core.

Jennifer Knapp is back.

Well, for now, all she has is a website, but apparently Brody Harper’s Skorinc (sorry Brody, I don’t know how to do the dot thing) is behind the site so I know that there will be much more content coming.

Jennifer’s album Kansas is one of my all time favorites. I listened to it for almost a year - straight.  I’ll keep you updated but be sure to check out her new site too.

Every time I see live concert video of Josh Wilson and his guitar my jaw drops. (Have you seen his version of Amazing Grace? Ah-mazing!)

So not everyone agreed with my musical opinion on yesterday’s post, but I’m not sure anyone can disagree that this song is 10 kinds of amazing. I love it when 1 person with 1 instrument can absolutely mesmerize and tell a story as richly as if we were watching it in a theater.

Foy Vance is his name and I’ve heard Brody, Dave and Brooke all rave about his music. Wish I’d listened to them earlier. Enjoy!

My friend Annie recently pointed me to a new group named Tal and Acacia.

The first word I thought of when I heard their songs was “refreshing.” Their music, while listenable and pop oriented, it is very different that what’s on most Christian radio stations.

I’ve been listening for a few days now and I’m really enjoying it. The good news is that you can enjoy it too - for free. They are offering their EP for zip, zilch, nada.
