Saturday morning I heard a song that blew me away. It’s called Take Everything and it’s by an artist we just mentioned last week - Joel Rakes.

The production is very simple and gorgeous. The lyrics are breathtaking because what he says is something I want to be true of me but it terrifies me at the same time.

And then what happens at 4:14 is pure genius. I was listening to the song as background music while I was working and I literally stopped what I was doing and just sat and listened.

I don’t really want to say too much about it, because I want it to impact you like it did me.

The song is only .99 at iTunes.

Go download it and prepare to be blown away. It’s really one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.

Oh, and when you listen, just put headphones on and sit in a quiet spot.
